12 Days of Christmas Cookies - Day 6

Super easy and sooo Y-U-M-M-Y!!!

Bown Sugar Buttons

1 cup Butter

• 1 cup Brown Sugar
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 2 cups All purpose Flour

1/2 cup Corn Starch


Icing Sugar for decorating
Directions:


Preheat oven to 350 F.
Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add Flour and cornstarch. Mix until dough forms.


Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on parchment lined cookie sheets. Flatten slightly
Bake in preheated oven 10 minutes. Remove, place on wire rack. With a wooden skewer or toothpick poke 4 holes in warm cookies to make button holes. Cool and dust with icing sugar.

Can be frozen.
